I do not like epoxy finished floors.
Slippery when wet! IMO, more slippery than a ceramic tile floor.
There are additives to provide grip. I don't like those either. I have seen two garages with 2 different types of additives. One used sand snd the main issue with it was the sand particles broke down over time and use and caused cracking and surface deterioration. The other was so rough it was difficult to mop; the mop cords would catch. The owners 5 year old skinned her knees and harm badly when she was running and fell.
On wood? Wood moves with moisture changes. Not sure how that would work out.
Epoxy is also terribly vile smelling until it cures completely. That can take a few days. The vapors can also be toxic in large amounts in a confined space so that should be considered.

We have it at the auto shop. It has a rough texture, no slipping, and very durable. Spills are harder to wipe up though.
