That's how I see it. But, with two legs he could run the fridge or whatever on one and lights etc. on the other to reduce the loss.

Not really..your still running the whole load on the neutral line. I know they allow for more loss on the neutral line though.

If you ran a 220 line you would need to run 2 hots, a neutral, and a ground. You would put that into a small sub panel where you could separate into 220 or 110 circuits.

Do as the power companies do. Use a step up transformer at the source, 110 to 220 and a step down at the receiving end. https://www.ebay.ca/itm/262584461848?epid=1558310723&_trkparms=ispr%3D1&hash=item3d23 40ea18:g:ZdIAAOSw4M5b0MWZ&amdata=enc%3AAQAGAAAA4FNQYZ4475RyetogNZJol75%2BzzEM5RtbmKPR %2BtjC%2FpKNKsdtz1oNCPbqNuiQldueKVmihyjz4vJpHaeipAc9fqOrLnp%2BjmLQ7WVX3Bw8%2B9fLKJLPi 3iTa1ImiXtWWVVHSa9jkIq88uaPl1H3XaoBP57QzEike%2B09KG5XFsiZhRwFBqyh2peGdN2OjdZ2yRoe1qNC qk4d9tp%2BLkMIycJMwCHWNVBmEuLJIPeoftsJO5n%2FQgH63S50iDB3eKQ2LTUC%2BdUrjjnmWbaOOUGnx%2 FeztDf2R7X3aYtZ8Qpxb4QMNdPw%7Ctkp%3ABFBMkv-JgPxf
