I watched a video of two people on YouTube who recommend a conversion from a steel building into a residence. Here it is:

It sounds all logical but how do you keep moisture out of the building?
And how can you keep the place cool in summer?
Is a regular insulation good enough?

Spray foam, closed cell foam would be my guess.

Not to your question, but have you looked at conventionally built 'garage kits'? They convert into a small house/cabin/cottage with only a few mods and it doesnt take a full sized home contractor to build one.

Why aren't they showing us this tremendously good steel building residence instead of just talking about it? Talk is cheap.
