Erins#1Mom	# Posted: 6 May 2011 04:42pm Reply I'm trying to calcuate the number of 8 in x 8 in x 16 in block needed for a 4 foot foundation for a 16 ft x 20 ft cabin. Is there a formula out there somewhere?

rayyy Member	# Posted: 6 May 2011 05:07pm Reply well,,, you get 3 blocks in 4 feet,that meens 15 blocks for the 20 foot walls. 12 blocks for the 16 foot walls 54 blocks for one corse all the way around.you will need 6 corses.324 blocks total. 300 regular blocks and 24 corner blocks is what you will need.Your footer should be roughly 8x 16 underneeth them.
