Last night my game camera took an odd photo. I slept through the text. Some bright light in the sky? Other pic of the deer from same camera, different night, for comparison. And a day photo.
Does a bright light trigger these cameras as well as motion? If it was a helicopter with a search light (which I would have heard) it would be beyond the motion detection sensor I would guess. downloaded6373630524.jpg

It's probably a bug up close to the camera. I have got the same effect when using a night vision movie camera. They move fast and it comes across as a "liht" when close to camera

Heck with that, I like the old fire truck, is that a DNR rig? It looks like an International.

Quoting: mj1angier It's probably a bug up close to the camera. I had something similar trigger a camera. It's either an optical illusion, or a 4 foot spider on my wife's car.

Hmm, bug, good call. Anyone second that? I've been worried all day..police copter, prowler, flying saucer.. I guess if it was a light beam it would be more defined.
The truck is a '66 International, from our small town fire dept., retired to parade duty just last year and under my stewardship.

I would agree it's a bug or part of a critter and the camera just didn't focus on it making it look blurry. I used to get shots like that at my old land when a deer would stand directly to the side of the camera and puts it's mouth above my camera making it's whiskers look like something in the photo!

I’m way more concerned about the giant car eating crab than your photo Paul. I get lots of wired stuff like that. Fog or rain drops. Bugs close up critter parts give some strange looking pics
But the crab is scary

OK I'll chalk it up to a bug. I've had probably 500 photos since I installed the camera, many are false triggers but this is the first time for this type of thing.
Thanks all!
