So the wife and I have both been ordered to work from home. We are located in Western NY so even neighboring States have warnings on us.

We are fortunate that we already own our retirement home which is isolated on a mountain and bordered by a thousand acres of State land. Normally we visit every weekend and bring the dogs. They run and play as they know our 30 acres well. We do our hikes to stream and established trails. We come home Sundays and Monday the dogs sleep the sleep of the dead. They are pooped

Well, now we have been living here two week both working on our PCs best we can for 8 hours a day. Our breaks are 7AM walk the dogs, Noon walk the dogs, 5PM walk the dogs.

Well for years hearing walkies made the two dogs jump for joy. After two weeks of this I think the dogs a starting to dread another freaking walk through the woods. I just said walkies and one let out a loud groan.

We exhausted our dog in similar circumstances last week. He was so lethargic I thought he was ill at first!

Ahhh, wish I (only now) that we had more connectivity at our cabin, I would so be WFH there. Our cat loves going there, and she acts differently too. She stays up all night chasing mice, and random sounds, and is much more tired in the daytime! So glad your doggo isn't really ill,

Our 75lb boxer/bull dogs usually blow all there energy in about 36hrs. One weekend trip home we didn't see/hear from them in the back seat once. 4hrs home and not a peep. They had fun though.

That cracks me up. My dog who is my sole companion in CNY feels the same way.
