Time to celibrate,It's been 10 years gone by now from when I bought this wooded lot with a pretty Creek flowing through. Its been a life long dream of mine to build a cabin in the woods.Through the trial and error's of trying different things and new ideas,I think it's pretty comfortable living now.

Happy Holidays!
It was an exciting drive off the mountain and into town yesterday. Not much snow but it was wet and slippery. They closed the road right after this until the sanders could run through. By this time uphill traffic was halted.

It's funny, but we only go down to our cabin in winter for 2 reasons. #1 is so the wife can decorate it for Christmas. And #2 is for New Years Eve.
Yep. She spends a couple hours doing all the decorating for basically no reason. But she really enjoys it. (I have two Christmas trees at the main house. The "elegant" all white one upstairs in the living room, and the fun, colorful, movie-themed tree in the theater. It's even got a Death Star as a tree topper )
To me, it seems a bit of a bother, but she lets me sit there in the chair, sipping a fine Eggnog, and listening to Christmas music on the soundbar while she flutters about decorating. Not a bad way to spend and afternoon, if you ask me.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
