Merry Christmas to all our "cabin dwellers" from Sarnia, Ontario Canada.
As most of us know, "cabin life" is as much as a state of mind as it is the physical structures we choose to call our cabins. So...all cabin folk (past and present) are welcome to post a greeting and one photo of their property the epitomizes the feeling of cabin life for them. One photo needs to say it all...cheers!

One of the things I like about Christmas is that it is just the other side of the winter solstice. Meaning that the days start getting longer again. The photo below was taken near our cabin on Saturday at 1pm. That's solar noon - the highest the sun will get in the sky that day. As you may notice, it is not very high.

It's near Georgian Bay, just south of Mactier. Four years into an ongoing complete rebuild. Finally got new windows and siding done this fall. I'm really happy with how the exterior turned out. Time to focus on inside.

Thank you bushbunkie. Yes, it usually is here in the winter. We are very blessed to live where we do. It truly is heaven on earth. We will be retiring in 2021 so will be closing our motel (the Bank, Saloon and Barber in the photo). Those will be used for our kids and grandkids when they come to visit us.
