Lets see,,,what am I gonna miss about living in town? The crazy neighbors on my left screaming and yelling at their kids all the time. The crazy neighbors on my right argueing and fighting and yelling at each other. The garbage all over the place.Dog poop on the sidewalks. The skunks spraying outside my bedroom window. The noisy big trucks on the street.Rude kids.Trying to park off street at night so's not to get ticketed.Things coming up missing.(one of my tool boxes)Having to lock up everthing you own.$200.natural gas bills.Noisy old busy bodys up and down my street.noisy partys going on till all hours in the up stairs appartment.Barking dogs. Now,what I'm gonna like about my country cabin life.Peace and quiet. The sound of the creek running along.Feeding the birds.Watching the deer and turkeys, geese and ducks.Plenty of space to park everything. The smell of wood smoke.Working in the garden.Cutting wood.No monthly bills to give me sticker shock$$$.The smell of wild roses, locuss blossems.Sounds of kateydid's,fox pups playing, screech owls and morning doves cooing. The warmth of a nice fire.Summer breeze.,,,,YEP,I'M GONNA MISS THAT TOWN LIFE!

My fav was the bear on the porch....hahahaha
Luckily no bears around here just a bunch of wild hogs that can be extremely dangerous, but also a delicious snack...silver lining to everything I suppose...

It's OK,Just.I got a chuckle out a that. The creek is at snow melt stage, flowing beautiful. The crow's all roost in town(by the thousands, too)The deer eat what they can left out in the corn fields( much better eating).I'll fence in the garden. The geese are flying by on their way to the swamps up north of me just honking away to say hello.I'm 3 miles out of town,I'll ride my bike if I can't afford the gas.I could always saddle up smokey and ride to town, too.Don't eat bread anyways. As for mud,I will have stone brought in for the driveway.I like the smell of wood smoke. My kid's are both teachers now days, don't think their students will tell them they stink. The thorns are nasty on wild roses, that's why I go around them, not through them.No bears around here. For staying cool,I will have a screened in back porch and If need be,a dip in the creek.

what's town??? i live in the country . I locked my gate and come down my gravel drive, i know i am home. My 3 dogs greet me as i drive down the drive. I enjoy drinking my water from a deep well. I love building campfires down my the barn. I enjoy hearing the geese in the morning flying from the nearby ponds over the barn/backyard. in the spring it is nice to hear a turkeys gobble from the back pasture.Or to hear the neighbor cows bellowing in the distance, The smell of fresh cut hay in the nearby fields, i enoying watching all the birds in my bird feeders, while i enjoy a hot cup of coffee and see my world come alive each morning..............i love the country "it who i am"............

all i see is pro's. of course once there...it may be different. but all i see is...power prices we can control.its mostly get warm by wood stove and we have tons of wood. i see sunshine and a clothes line as a major boon. Here in the city-we are not allowed to even have a clothes line.i have to be illegal to dry out a couple of towels. i see drying my foods i grow out on the land.i see window screens set up as a place to dry my fruits and veggies.and then cheese cloth over.if i can not hang out a dish towel in town.i dont think the powers that be here would approve of rows and rows of fruits drying ontop of alot of saw horses. i will have lots and lots of room for a big big garden...not tiny raised beds as in town.i do not have to have the neighbors always seeing into my house as i see into theres. no more do i have to pay for garbage,or sewer or water or power.sounds pretty good to me.and if our land is paid off.yahoo.no more high mortage payments as we have in town.yahoo.and good good air, good water, and space to exercise.heck.if we wanted we could go outside and do jumping jacks out in our woods and no one but the squirels would see.

What I love about country living is the neighbours....We had a woman stop here yesterday because she was having heart problems. She was afraid to continue on because she felt like she was going to pass out. We called an ambulance for her and they came and took her to hospital.
As soon as she left, we had neighbours stopping by and the phone has been ringing non-stop with neighbours checking on us (they either saw the ambulance here or heard it on their scanners). You don't get that in the city. Most city neighbours don't even know your name let alone care about you. I LOVE my country neighbours. *S*

Quoting: Just don't come if you think it's a pease of cake Funny!
Currently I get kinda lonely after about the 3rd day by myself. The ideal conditions for me is on the 3rd day; my family comes and stays for the next 3 days!
