I have noticed that I have a tendency to hang things up. In my garage if there is a roof joist or floor joist it is full of nails with stuff hanging from them. Auto parts in one area. Snow go parts here atv there. In the cabin it’s guns, old traps to be gone through, extra bits for the ice auger. Moose call horns that others left. I don’t use them, to bulky, but there if others want to. Jackets on nails near door and kitchen pots n pans from beams n such. I did do a couple shelf walls to square in a toilet room in the back corner.
Is it just me ?

I like things hanging or even better, in cabinets and closets with doors, to keep them clean. Things piled on the floor make it difficult to clean the floor.

Aklogcabin, I like your use of the shelves to make the bathroom area. I thought of doing something similar for our shower area. Right now it's just a curtain hanging.

I use cup hooks, screws, nails, peg boards and even resorted to stapling things into any empty space I can find. Heres a few pics of my store room.
