Be aware out there that in some areas we will be seeing Record Heat Waves with some areas around me reaching a High of 36C / 96F + and with humidex closer to 49C / 120F. Please check your regional weather forecasts and Be Prepared for what will be in your area. Also a Happy & Pleasant July 4th Long Weekend to our US Neighbours - May you all have a Great Long Weekend + !

Is it too much to ask for them to bring up some new shoes? Scuff them up first for sure! Glad we can all get along this week! Let the festivities begin!

I hate to admit it, but here in the U.S., we've become so inured to this sort of claim that I'd missed that particular one. Had to look it up. Maybe we could arrange some sort of informal but fair border trade, say a truckload of Sleeman's in exchange for a pair of scuffed up shoes?
