I too wonder from time to time

Gary O, thanks for mentioning that site. I went over to have a look there, as well.

Still, this forum and a prepper site I am on, Survival Monkey, are my two favorite forums covering these topics.

I don't recall the other two right off. But, I enjoy Mtn Don's posts here. I hope he continues to be active on this forum.

ha.i let my man do the talking on here.i poke in from time to time to see what everyones doing.
julie 2 oregon and i talk and email each other.we keep in touch.shes in the process of buying a house in town.really lovely lady.
Gary o is in the process of building me a spinning shed so i can have room for my spinning wheels.
so i can spin my wool.we dont have any animals yet.i think so far i have gotten all free llama wool from everyone.i have several souces to get free wool each year now.
gardens in.thanks to Gary o putting every plant in cages.we are having a nice lovely garden this year.our fruit trees are coming along even after heavy snow load and ice broke off some of them...and rabbits ate the bark.they survived and we have cherry trees and apple trees and seaberry trees.
we are good.thank u.

Good to hear she's doing OK!


And good on the garden and fruit trees! Great feeling to grow your own food, just like cutting your own wood for heat, spinning yarn, etc.

thanks Nate.she surely is.moves into her cute little home in August.she is very excited.
yes.we are living our dream of both having our projects.
spending the days making this or that.
soon wild red currants will be ripe.i shall be picking them and canning up wild red currant syrup.

Borrego- you have horses?
I have a 20 yr old arab mare and a 14 yr old paint gelding.
I just had a barn built up at he cabin property to hopefully semi retire there in a few years. Life is good with horses...
