Sorry if this has already been covered in this forum, but does anyone have direct experience with the Harbor Freight lumber mill? The reviews are awesome, but maybe the Russians have hacked the website and are manipulating public opinion with inflated positive feedback. You can pick this thing up for 2K, which is a fraction of what most mills cost.

I have seen good reviews from others on some of the chainsaw/milling forums

Hey neighbor, if you get it, I know someone who'd pay someone to rip a few lodge poles down to live edge planks, or just flatten two sides for timbers....
as far as anything mechanical from HFT, I've sworn off of 'em and I do mean sworn

From what I read, its a pretty good unit for the money. Just get new blades. The ones that come with it are very cheap.

If I get it, I'd be up for ripping a few boards Gary.

If I bought one, I'd square it up, weld it solid and mount it on parallel 2X6 box tubes, cross braced frame, add an axle and stabilizer jacks down both sides and make a sweet towable unit out of it.
