Ok everyone, I have some questions. I will be building a 16 x24 hunting cabin this spring, I will have plenty of pics.
My question is I will be heating with gas, what does everyone recommend vented or vent free and what company do you recommend. Any favorites?
I always have a window open or 2, and i will be putting in a vent in the back wall with the heater. So please help, I love this site and everyones projects, can't wait to add mine. I want to know everyones likes and dislikes, so fire away.

Definitely use a vented heater. I have seen people recommend this heater here and on other forums

I heat with wood only but would imagine good airflow and ventilation would be important. You always hear of stories where cabins were too "tight" and led to aphixiation. Err on the side of caution and ensure good air flow and ventilation!

I agree with Rob O re. the Slim line vented propane heater.
I'm putting in a vented gravity propane heater salvaged out of an old Rv. No electricity required.
Works like a charm in my garage when I was testing it...Will let you know how it works in my Bunkie.
Welcome to the sight and good luck with the cabin!
