As many here are using PV or at least considering it as an alternative to Grid Power, the discussion on warranties, their backing & support and consumer protection from "PV Pirates" has been rumbling for a few years... Well finally, some movement in that area for you & me the "Consumer" (or potential power generator - pending on point of view)

Here, in Ontario Canada, the Power Rates have gone up 140% in the past 8 years... YES 140 PERCENT ! 140% rate increase = incentive to get off-grid or to start generating your own
How have the Power Rates in your area been doing over the past 5-10 years ? Might be time to consider changes....
