Small camp/cabin 12 x 16 in hardwood bottom on same property we live on. Propane generator, water, septic, 120 & 12 volt power. I need suggestions on 12 volt sound system. Only need XM and 6 speakers. Speakers don't have to be big. Thanks Ralph

the little chip amps are good. lepai. with the tripath chip. its 12v.

or the ones using the TDA7498 chips. SMLS; there's a bunch. pretty cheap too. Uses 24v tho.

I've got both. the tda based amp uses bluetooth only for input. its nice that folks can come by with their phones and put on music they like real easy.

all of the above have amazing sound. just watch the volume. the distortion characteristics get crazy if you overdrive them.

i've had good experiences with the Micca MB42X speakers. I have the pioneer andrew jones. they rock!

I would run a car radio with xm, that also has a cd player and a port for an iPod, or phone.
