!!! DEAL ALERT !!!
Home Depot Canada is changing window suppliers from JELD-WEN to someone else in Canada. Major Price Drop @ Cash register.
I needed two windows for my loft area and specifically something to fit in between the studs so I needed something < 21" wide... They carry 18"w X 30"h Single Hung, perfect for our needs... Listed @ $169.00 online... In-store they were marked down to $105.00, so I grabbed two and the sales associate said they are dumping that brand and so there are further discounts coming in the next 2 weeks.... due to my time requirement I had to get these... Got to the Cash and Low & Behold, $ 74.00 EA MADE MY DAY !

Thanks for the heads up Steve! I had purchased a couple of those same windows 89 days ago in preparation for a little project at the cabin this summer.
Went to HD today with my receipt and low and behold I got a $135.00 refund . I had to threaten to return the windows that day before the 90 days were up and then buy them back but they ended up honouring it. that price was not even mentioned online. Thanks again for the Tip...

Good One Clipper....
As the guy said, this just came down the pipe and not being advertised as such... I guess they have to keep it on the down low because a lot of contractors would go in and scoop them up and I could see the builder's wholesaler's crying foul...

Ooh - good call Steve. I'll pop by and see if I can't snag a deal. My entire house needs new windows, but it's unlikely they'll have matching sizes... however, items like my garage, shed, and chicken coop could sure use some upgrades.
