Oh, yay! Thanks for posting this, OF! I love different teas and will try my hand at crafting my own brews!
Speaking of brews, I discovered that juniper berries are used to make gin. I have juniper trees on my land!

Labrador leafs make a fine tasting tea too. If you have pine in the area you should have some labrador plants. I'm sure you've seen them. http://www.instructables.com/id/Labrador-Tea/

I have lots of Ponderosa pine. I want to buy a book on plants in the PNW or specifically Oregon, if I can find one, to help with identification. My son bought me a Kindle for Christmas!

You're in a good spot there Julie. Here some edible wild plants in the PNW to look for.
I crack people up when we go hiking and I start grabbing wild flowers and weeds and eating them. http://northernbushcraft.com/plants/index.htm
People are so used to going to the store they forgot that the indians survived for generations on wild plants.
P.S. Catnip makes a great tasting and soothing tea. One of the healthiest and best tasting also is Dandelion flower or root. (Never kill the dandelions!)

What a great site! Thanks for the link! Wow, we have Jerusalem artichoke, wild asparagus, and lots of neat things!
Oregon has LOTS of edible mushrooms. All sorts of berries, too.

I like berries most of all. Whenever I come across a patch of good berries like blue berries, black berries or strawberries, I STOP! drop my backpack and start picking.
I learned that its best to spend 15 or 20 minutes picking then 15 or 20 seconds eating ~

Last night I drank a Zija detox tea. Pooped 5 times this morning. I will spare you the details. Pure magic. I feel like a kid.

HAHa! Quite the experience, isn't it? I like just sitting there for a few minutes listening to it yell at me in 5 different languages and telling me how much it hates Jesus.
Then I flush down the demon and listen to it scream all the way down. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Detox tea works GREAT for exorcisms too!
