Went to the cabin last weekend and Sunday morning we were greeted to the first sign of winter. A blanket of 3-4 inches of snow had fallen on my mountain top. Golden Retriever loves snow. Pitbull mutt loves to eat it but her thin blood keep her frequently visiting the wood stove.
Love the fall in Upstate NY. My favorite season
Leaves should be peak this weekend
Can't wait

Beautiful!!! I can't wait until winter slides in here. Guess we should get all our fall chores done first though!

I was installing a new window on Sunday as the sun was shining brightly. As the construction phase hit the point of no return I could see the snow coming my way. Oh crap, well lets see how quickly I can get this window in!
Got it done and the snow in my face was refreshing.

first it was sunny. then it was a blizzard. and then it was sunny again. for a second I thought i was back in Calgary.
Wilbour, I wonder if this is your snow squall a half hour later.

Headed to cabin/mountains this weekend can't wait(excited) when does winter become winter? suppose to be some weather(snow Thursday,Friday and Saturday) try to get some flyfishing in regardless!
