I got a new hammock yesterday and had time to set it up today. Mmmm. I luvz me my hammock.

Where do you hang out to be utterly relaxed?

(the local red squirrel ate my small hammock. must be some nest. and my big hammock by the water rotted out after a mere 8 years, wha?)

I also have me a hammock! I've got it hanging between trees by the brook, 100 feet or so from the 10x10. Nice place to just laze and listen to the brook babble!

This is one of several. My morning coffee place. There are a couple of islands about 300 yards away with a few Eagles and Osprey nests. I hope to get some pics of them once I get a new camera.

I relax by the fire ring outside at camp...or by the wood stove inside if it raining....also have a homemade barrel stove under the cooking shed to sit by it the weather is misty or light rain ....and I enjoy sitting in my chair down by my small pond....I have no problem relaxing...I am pretty good at it..lol

AND riding on my Kawasaki Mule or golf cart on my farm or at the hunting lease is very relaxing as well. Get to see a lots of critters riding it late evening in woods and fields.

Can you tell me more about your hot tub? Where does the water come from? A well? A river? What do you use for the tub itself and heating the water?

I'm thinking about making one near a stream on my property. Wondering if just the pressure from the stream would be enough to fill it. Also considering a copper coil in a 50 gal drum with a fire in it to heat. Interested in what you have.

We bought our hot tub in 2007 from Alumitubs. http://alumitubs.com/
We have had trouble free service ever since. The water is heated from a tub mounted wood stove. We pump water from our lake and have recently started use well water.

That's a pretty sweet setup. I take it you have to drain the water when you leave in the winter time.

Used to really enjoy this spot but one of the trees fell off the cliff last year.
