We just named our cabin after our two dogs. Can't wait to carve a sign next spring. I thought there was a thread about cabin names, but I couldn't find it in a search. If this isn't a redundant topic, anybody got other cool cabin names/stories?

You should be able to make a cute sign with the name Camp Wagatail!!!
Ours is F.R.E.D. which stands for "freaking ridiculous economic disaster".

I made a sign for mine after it was named. I am building the large log crossbar above the gate, (like you see on large cattle ranches) 16 feet high, 16 feet wide, top crossbar log is 22 feet wide. I will hang this sign from it. Mine is "The Double J Ranch", I am listed as a timber-farmer by the state with a sweet tax break at $64 for the 40 acres a year, plus about $180 for the cabin. The trapezoid signs are already in place. Made to look like forest service, both in shape and color.

My 6 year old daughter named it "little creek cabin". Not really a creek nearby but sounded good.

was thinking of the name "Hobbit Hollow" for mine...but still undecided...F.R.E.D is probably more apt.

My wife and I stayed in many a run down UP deer camps built back in the 20's thru the 50's for years. Some just got to fall'n apart. Many had the word "Resort" in their name lol. So we named our cabin "The Last Resort" LOL.
