We have the 35,000 BTU version of this heater. I have been pleased with the performance. For the most part we used this heater to provide a quick warm up. My experiance has been that a full battery charge will provide 5-6 hours of run time for the fan. Also, you want to make sure that the fan is running before you ignite.

It is NON vented though. Lots of discussion here and there on whether or not that is safe. Even a little bit of CO is not safe.. 'nuff said.

To MtDon's point, we have three CO detectors and now limit the use of this heater. Originally it was used during construction when the building was not air tight. We now have a vented wall heater and use of the Hero is limited to assisting in the initial warming of the cabin.

Thanks for the input and feedback.
I would be using it for the same purpose (to initially warm the pod or to elevate the temperature before sleeping). CO detectors will be used.
This will be a temporary solution until the main cabin is built.
