Hello all
My neighbor has given me his spare jet pump. It is a Red Jacket Quick set 1/2 HP. It has two intakes that I believe allow for pumping greater heights. My question is, can restrict the 1 1/4" intake down to 3/4" and still pump 30' in height? My reason is that I have enough 3/4" pipe on hand and would rather not buy 200' of 1 1/4".
What do you think?

yes, may slow it down a bit but will not hurt ability to lift water or push water up .
