Well, I stopped keeping a careful budget a while back, but I can get pretty close. We are done with the inside except a few fancy wood projects I am saving for a rainy - oh wait it never rains out here in the flat unappealing barren desert -and the outside is done except for solar, a few more decks, screened porch and upper deck. So we're at $25k for a little less than 600 sq ft. with high level finishes inside.... I expect to spend another $10k for the decks, solar and appliances. I will have more exterior living/lounging room than interior at approx 1300 sf..
