As to driving in deep snow; If you're not going to plow and you can and want to keep driving in and out of a trail, you must not drive in the same tracks all the time. You will build a high track that you can slip off of and get stuck bigtime. Instead pack a wider track and if you can drag a log or brush to fill in any ruts.
