I'm 20 minutes outside of Boston. 26" inches here, up to 34" in other places around the city. Took me 4 hours to shovel my roof.

Quoting: Rick004 My property is up in Kazabazua I'm further north near Sainte-Thérèse-de-la-Gatineau. We camped (Pop Up Trailer) for 3 years and I started the build last fall. Got everything closed in (no siding), some wiring done etc and am really looking forward to the spring to get back up there. Lots more snow up there.

Quoting: Rick004 we go up to the PowWow in Maniwak Didn't know about this - we are still exploring the area for events. This looks like a great chance to educate our kids (and ourselves). I know someone on Blue Sea lake as well - they call it a cabin but I call it a large house! The thread on my build is Build.

I want to apologize to Rayyy for derailing his thread so I'll talk about the snow ! We just got 25cm in Ottawa 24 hours ago now there calling for freezing rain and rain !!! Only in Canada ! On a brighter note to Razmichel , the Maniwaki Pow Wow is usually the first weekend in June and goes all weekend ! It's on the Kitigan Ziby reserve ! They also make the best maple syrup anywhere !! Love your cabin by the way !!

Yes - sorry Rayyy - although we are throwing in weather related stuff! There are times I love the winter - then the freezing rain comes! What a mess it is going to be tomorrow. My kids school is supposed to be going skiing tomorrow (I always take the day off to join them) - not likely going to happen.
Rick004 thanks for the tip on the Pow Wow - I looked it up and we are hoping to be going this year. Thanks also for the compliment on the cabin. We are really looking forward to using it this summer as the Pop Up trailer was loosing its appeal (two young boys, two labs).

Hey Razmichel !! Do you take the 105 through Wakefield to get to your cabin ? I grew up in Wakefield and my children all live in Masham and Low Que. I know the area very well if You need more tips of stuff to do !

We generally come from the west end of Ottawa so miss Wakefield. Lovely area and we have gone there many times for shows at the Black Sheep and just to visit.
Heading up to the ski hill - looking forward to the ice pellets changing to freezing rain changing to rain

We're in bells corners so we can take either way ! If you take the 148 and then the 301 you drive right near our property in Danford Lake
