Tell us all about it. I have a 12 x 12 guest cabin and it seems to work well. It's better than a tent anyway.

I stayed in my 10 by 10 barn shed for 4 months, it was livable but a bit short on storage space so it was a stepping stone to my 10 by 20 which is "Just Right".

I think mikec would be close to the smallest or at least one of the smallest I have followed since joining the forum.

A true work of inspiration in an 8X8 package.
And of course our ever present mentor cabinbuilder.
It seems the small cabins are getting larger. Some small cabins are now larger than our house!

We are on the smaller end with a 10x14. http://www.small-cabin.com/forum/6_659_0.html
bugs, you're right, iI just don't get the 'Blog Cabin' thing.
We hope to upgrade to something bigger in 5-10yrs when you can spend more time there but it probably won't be more than 500sqft.

We have a 9x12" Bunkie with two adults and two kids. It's snug but we love it.

i spent 16 months living in a 10'x14' low wall storage barn (side walls only 4' high, peak of the roof only 7' off the ground). this tiny shack was bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room, everything.
i moved into a palatial 12x20 this fall, i gawk when i go to friends houses and see the huge spaces and feel a little agoraphobic (fear of wide open spaces not a fear of al gore), and then they tell me its just a single wide trailer.

10x12 here. Not the smallest, but small for sure. But I still like it!

We are at 8x12 outside but the 6" walls make the inside 77 square feet without a loft. Only two of us stay in it tho.
Thought this might be a more fitting image considering the time of year!!!

I live fulltime in a 13 x 9 wood cabin on a concrete slab. It is on 5 acres in the woods. My piece of heaven. I lost my shirt in a divorce but kept my dogs and my retirement intact. Found this place and it was a Godsend. Saved my life.
