Well the bottle of rum is only short lived , the Kayak might work better but I was looking for something that would work a little longer. Maybe I should have asked tiger W. (just a joke but so is woods.

Bad Bad... But funny!

Borrego,

In that order??? Let's see, wet, hung over, tired - no, that don't work. Tired, hung over, smoky - no. Maybe I'd better reserve a week or two to complete the list.

I have all the woman I can handle with my wife. God help me if she ever got drunk on rum. I would have to escape in the kayak and set up a smoke screen with the cigar. Slick Willy used fine cigars didn't he?

Just got a new mini laptop and yesterday was streamlining it a bit ...needless to say...I have spent the better part of the last 24 hours reloading the OS and getting it back to a working state....between the frustration of trying to load an operating system on a machine without an optical drive and and the days regular work...the cabin fever has been held at bay.

perhaps it is the thought of heading TOO the cabin for new years that has sustained me.

Really the only way is to go out there, so yesterday, I went to the desert with a buddy who has a cabin not too far from mine.
We roofed and insulated a shed I built last time out, laid out to build a bathroom in his cabin soon,

and then went 4 wheelin' to an old stage stop called Palm Spring! It's strange & yet cool finding a pool of water in the middle of the desert......
