Ah, winter's here, it's time to stay at the cabin. I love this time of year. A little corn and the deer come to entertain, the wetlands are froze and I go all over them to see things I otherwise can't, wood heat feels so good. I need to work, it's in my blood, so I will fall and skid some house logs. Some venison stew slow cooking on the wood stove will sure taste good in the afternoon. The clearest atmosphere, the stars and planets will be checked out every night, as if something might have changed.

Wow,Owen, now that's what I'm talking about.Kick back and relax and enjoy getting away from the rat race for a while.Peace and quiet.Just enjoying nature and the simple things in life.It is so nice.Even prepairing that load of fire wood.It cleanses the sole, gives you new energy and viger.I know the joy of all that you see and experience at your cabin.

Two feet would be nice. Then I'd use a snowmobile to get there.

I don't understand it either. I'm pretty sure TMT would drink gasoline if he could, why no snowmobile? Timbersled?

I'm at my cabin now, there's 14 inches of snow. Getting it all warmed up for the family coming tomorrow.

Tom,
I am thinking it's gonna be a might chilly on the way to your shower house. I don't even want to think about the trip back. Happy New Year to you!

We did get one big buck, not in picture and two does. Yes, we eat venison three times a week. I'm glad you got some of the clean good stuff. It's sure better than farm raised and store bought.
