Small Cabin Forum / General Forum / canoe caddy

watersound Member	# Posted: 17 Nov 2009 08:37pm Reply  I would like to know how to transport a canoe from the land to the water and back by my self or for my wife for her early morning cruise with the boys. I have been thinking about doing something with some old bicycle wheels and frames. any ideas?
Vince P Member	# Posted: 18 Nov 2009 10:36am Reply  I built this about two years ago, out of some kid's bike wheels and an Ikea roof rack I cut up (site is in Swedish): http://www.andersj.se/karran_index.htm I've used it for hauling canoes with a bike, but it's easily moved by hand as well.
