I will call some local surveyors next week to see how much they charge. Is it worth while even calling the town to see if they have any free info on my property lines?
Where my cabin is, I can go online to the county assessors office online, get a google earth type view and with a program called silverstar (maybe silverlight) as you zoom closer, property line appears. It will give you a good idea. Then you can search and should be a ble to locate corner markers. My markers are steel post buried grade level, but next to it is a orange looking mile marker. So finding them is easy.
