I got a Bushnell land/wildlife camera that takes pictures as something moves around it. I'm really happy with it so far, but I haven't taken it out of the package yet. LOL. May get it put up in a couple weeks. I'm interested in seeing what kind of pics it takes.
Anyone else get anything interesting?

Neb: This one came from Sam's Club
http://www.samsclub.com/sams/shop/product.jsp?productId=prod4420247&navAction=
I haven't pulled it out yet because I told my parent's to get me one but I didn't know that my wife was getting me one so I got hers first. If in fact my parents did get me one then I'll decide which one is better and keep it and take the other one back and get something better. Although the wife says having 2 at the cabin might be good too. Might do that instead.
I also got some cash and I'm thinking that the 60W solar kit from Northern Tool is lookin good at $249. http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200466740_200466740

Yep try them out but I have the Bushnell the sameone yo have shown is by far the best cam I have ever owned. I have had many differant brands and makes and it is the best one that I have found. I have had one out from Aug. and is still on full battery life. The one thing they have going them is battery life and it doesn't matter how cold. Last year it was out all winter in -30 to -40 below and was still taking oictures in the spring. For the money it is as good as any high priced one on the market.

Great gifts!! My uncle got us a $100 gift card for Home Depot, so that will come in handy. I also got a great quilt and a wool plaid blanket for those cold nights. I got the husband an outdoor thermometer (so we'll know just how cold it is up there) and a big iron kettle for the wood stove.
We're off to the cabin TODAY- will return Saturday with photos!

Santa brought a bottle opener. It is cast iron, not pot-metal. Brand is "HomArt". Also got an " Accu-Rite" electronic weather center, with in/out temp, wind speed, and a barometric pressure with 12 hours history graph (from FredMeyer store). Cast Iron bear bottle opener.

My brother gave me his old Yamaha EF1000. He hadn't used it in years and could not start it (friend put in oil fuel mix in thinking it was a two stroke). I replaced the spark plug, air filter, and cleaned out the carburetor jets (they were blocked). It starts and works!

Happy holidays all!!!
Santa brought me 1.8 W LED light strips from IKEA:)
http://www.ikea.com/ca/en/catalog/products/50192073/
and the coupon elf brought me a 3 inch memory foam topper to put on our 4 inch foamy mattress:) This was the best deal of the century! They are at Zellers for 200.00. They had a 55% off sale, and a coupon for 50% off of any one item (even those on sale) on their facebook page, so we got it for just under 50.00:) (so the cat is out of the bag, I am one of those crazy coupon people that clips organizes and shops with flyers to double up on my savings..... but hey a penny earned is an extra penny to put toward the cabin!
The kids are over the moon this year, as Santa brought them quads to bring to the little house.....(actually santa had a lot of help, as the grandparents etc. all chipped in to get them for the kids along with us:)
