Revy. I've done mid season, but it gives me a kick to ride in the spring, 20' deep, yet green grass in town.

Approx. 10 miles west of Quemado, NM. Actually just purchased the property, here's a few pics. It's only 4 acres, but backs the National forest........Elk galore!

Ok, have realized city life is just killing me. I love solitude, quiet, connection with nature, organic, and have better communication/connection with wildlife and nature, thanwith most people. I am part of all and all are part of me. I am looking to find a cabin for permanent residency. Lived in a small one for 3 yrs in the San Juans on New Mexico/Colorado border and outside of Taos, and have never forgotten how happy and content I was. Building one may be a bit of a chore, as I am a 65 yr old female (though very healthy and no lipstick or nail polish). Renting permanently would be great. I can do the work on the place. I can always visit my children and grandchildren. I do not need to work, so no need to be near any city, but within 10-15 mi of a town would be great. Love New England, New Mexico, Colorado, Appalachia. Thanks for listening to my ramblings.

And the funny thing is,something we've discussed this on the forum, is neighbours. Neighbours can make or break you experience. And thankfully we have great neighbours, only see them once a yr mind you.

In the Alberta prairie on a small lake. We just purchased it for a steal. Think remote, old, fixer-upper, and dirty. A lot of elbow grease and more than a little money will be required to make it our weekend retreat and bugout location for the zombie apocalypse.
