I could not find any recent threads that follow this theme and I hope that I am not being redundant...
I have been able to determine from your posts where many of you are building your cabins and I know that some of you choose to keep your privacy but I would like to have a general idea where you all are living or hope to live your dream.
My wife and I are in the planning stages of building in the Okanogan Highlands of Washington State. The well is in and the corral came with the property. How about you?

Cabinbuilder: some time ago we talked about putting a map on the site so people could more or less pinpoint their locations. I still think its a great idea (not only because I'm a geography nut but also because it fits so well within the friendly conversational flow of your forum. Is this still a possibility? Just wonderin'.

Cabinbuilder: some time ago we talked about putting a map on the site so people could more or less pinpoint their locations...

I'm in the process of figuring out technical aspects of how to implement this.

BTW, here is an older post on cabin locations subject.

My property is about 30 miles from Louisville KY. Out far enough to be isolated, but close enough to make a home there.
