Just returned back from the New Year Eve retreat I had with my wife at our Small Cabin.
Some may say it is crazy to spend a long night around cabin in the middle of the freezing Canadian winter, but we really enjoyed it. A change from everyday's life... ;-)
Here some pics of our Small Cabin in Winter: Small Cabin in Winter - Front

Winter may be the best time for a stay at the cabin. Snowshoeing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, ice fishing, photography, reading, baking cookies, it doesn't get any better. And no bugs, no refrigerator needed for ice cold beer. Oh bliss. Thanks for the pics, looks nice.

The cabin is near Bancroft, Ontario.
We do have quite a bit of snow there - perhaps it is not visible on the pictures, it was ~2ft of snow in the open. The small portion of road that leads to the cabin is not plowed, so we had to park our car across the neighbor's cabin who lives there year around.
It was fun!
