JR and I were working on the bad spots on the mountain road this week. The brush was hiding the drop off and the left rear tire slid off the road. I put the outrigger down and the front bucket. We tried pushing the rear up and over with the boom, made it worse. We tried pulling the rear with the boom, made it worse. The door is on the left side. The drop off was about four feet. If this 20,000 pound machine rolls, I'm going to the hospital. I called for heavy recovery. Dam Google showed me results for Augusta WV. I called this number. They sent out two trucks. The mistake I made was not researching local recovery companies, just in case. I had called a broker in Texas. So they hosed me for an extra $1000. If you have heavy equipment, don't make my mistake. Find and contact local recovery companies with type and weight of equipment to see if they can handle your stuff. The guy gave me his card for next time, which I hope never happens.

Yep. Had the same issues with mine, the more you try to correct under power the worse it gets.

Yes, no one is hurt, rig is safe too. $1000 extra, cheap when you think of the damage and recovery cost if it was in the hole on its side.
