I took our 8 year old grandson out for a 4 wheeler ride yesterday. Looking for moose and moose antler drops. Rode down to the little lake a few miles away and found it frozen over. For the next 6 months or so. That's OK. I have lots of ice fishing gear and grandkids that want to get out fishing n exploring with papa

We’re a ways off in Mn yet- still mid 50s water temp. It really is hard to believe though that it’s 6 whole months until May and ice-out.

Far from it here. After a run on the 22nd I went for a bath in the St Clair river between Michigan and Ontario. Water was still at least 60F. Latest I've ever voluntary went for a swim.
