Any insight to anticipated costs or tearing down 36x50 post and beam barn plus the 18 foot lean to's, kiln drying and reset on new foundation some four hours away? Barn is in excellent condition. Also, flooring is red oak in good condition. Plan to wire brush and use. Any estimate on the cost of using that 1800ft of flooring? barn_front.jpg

Any speculation is just that.....and varies widely by area. Best est. I got is cubic dollars. You need to get some quotes from some salvage companies. After you get shocked by that you can maybe look for some pole building guys between jobs to start at the top. Looks like shingles rather than a metal roof? You will need dumpsters for the pulled shingles; they may be considered haz waste in your area? And then there is insurance......

No idea but won’t be cheap. Nice barn though and worth saving

Sadly its prob going to be cheaper and you will have 10x the contractors to pick from to just build a new one.
