I picked up one of these LEDs from the buck and a quarter tree store to use in my storage room. It worked well so I bought 4 more just to have as backups. They have a hook and a couple magnets. The magnets are strong enough to stick them on the arms of our sunbrellas. They don't shake off easily and put out decent light. For $1.25 and 3 AAA batteries, not bad at all. Screenshot_20240413.png

Good deal darz. Going there today (our big Sunday outing), I could use a couple in the cavernous off grid shop.

I'm gonna pick up some more to leave in our shipping container. Got some dark spots in there for sure, can stick them anywhere.

Playing with my new lights back at the cabin. I made one change (since I have nothing better to do lol). I found the on/off switch button a bit hard to use with my fat, usually dirty paws, so I opened one up, and inside was the switch itself, with a nice big toggle. So I screwed it to the outside and tossed the sliding button. My plan is to inform the maker and request a nice big reimburse for money they could save.
Much better. Now I’m off to find something less important.

That's a good idea. I might do the same. Good luck with the royalties. Lol

These were sitting by the register yesterday so I grabbed one. Just the same battery operated LED thing but looks and operates like a regular light switch. And I have just the spot for it by a door, for a look and see quick walkthrough. 3 bucks.

I bought one a while back to stick up in our dark clothes closet....so far it has been a walk around flashlight that sits on the dresser beside the closet door. Might get another to go just inside the new cabin door.

I have that exact one stuck inside my truck bed. I have a hardshell fiberglass cover on it, and it blocks the cargo light. It's been there for about 4 years. Still works great.

Going through my box of electrical junk yesterday looking for something* I came across another one of those from awhile ago that I had replaced the 4aaa batteries with a usb cord. Put it by the front door inside, where there is a usb bus from my bank for the outside light. Works great, and not so offensive that I can’t leave it on at night if desired. Less dead aaa batteries to deal with.
* I was looking for the connector for this thing…
