Small Cabin Forum / General Forum / Telephone Poles

paulz Member	# Posted: 28 Nov 2023 06:24pm Reply  These run down the street in front of my property. I don’t think they carry power, those poles are a ways away from me. I know one is for fiber optic internet, those guys ran a line up to my cabin, after I dug a trench. Would the others be cable TV, phone lines? IMG_1822.jpeg IMG_1821.jpeg

With so much info transmitted over air these days.. for example I’m responding to this on an Apple IPhone, no idea where that gets transmitted. Even use it as a ‘Hot Link’ to watch TV sometimes. I have the fiber optic wires for a more reliable connection but could do without.
