I’d like to insulate my bunkie to keep the drafts out in the mid-winter. Southern Vermont, I’m planning on a 24x24 cabin in a few years, so just making this work for weekends and the occasional longer stretches. We have a direct vent propane heater, the top bunk gets very warm but the floor is cold. Limited room to get to the floor from below the cabin.

Floor, Rigid Foam Board Insulation then wood flooring on top.

Hope you dont think that LP heater pictured is 'direct vent'.
See you have solar, you should be able to get a 6-7" 12vdc fan off Amazon, or a similar one in 120vac if you have a small (must be) Pure Sine Wave inverter to kick the warmed air (heat rises) out of the peak and circulate it around the room. It makes a big diff even in my 16x24.
In my 1st build '83-'84, post & beam construction, I used 1" blue DOW styro between the beams with furring strips to nail t&g pine boards to.
I also used the same styro outside before putting the recycled old barn boards up. It was 12x24 c/w 12x12 loft and cozy.

I should have mentioned that! That pic was when we first purchased the place, prior to adding solar and the direct vent heater. Here's a pic when I was installing it, has been cleaned up since. Good idea on the fan, we do have a pure sine wave inverter which I mostly use for the Starlink dish.
I was leaning towards the stryo boards, glad they worked for you.

Def Do Not use the cheap 'beadboard' styro; you will hate yourself and be picking up floating beads like forever.

I also have a small (10x14) temporary cabin until I could our real cabin. I insulated the ceiling with 2in foam. I can tell you that your heater is way to small and a small fan helps to mix the air. We have a little 12x12x20in wood stove and that fan makes all the difference.
You could also cawlk your seams from the outside. This will help to future waterproof the building also.
We are in central ny.

I've got about 80% of the insulation installed and 50% of the furring strips and pine boards up. I was able to get under the cabin and used bubble foil between the floor joists. That alone has made a huge difference. You don't feel the giant drop in temperature from the second bunk to the floor. I put in a small USB powered ceiling fan to push the heat down and that has helped too. It was only down in the high 30's over the weekend, but I didn't have to turn the heat up very much to keep it warm. Appreciate the suggestions, I'll get an update once it's all done and the temps get cold.

My wife said "make insulating this cabin a priority" and I have spent the past 2 weekends doing so!

Bubble foil isnt really a insulation. It's more of a radiant barrier. You will have to let us know how the floor feels when it's really cold.
