My wife said the cabin had to have water and a shower before I could bring the camper home to sell it. Well i decided to pull the camper out and bring it home and sold my truck to by a Jeep before even selling the camper. So needless to say, building a shower even if it's not inside, is top priority now
I have a bunch of IBC totes at the land for firewood, so i decided I am going to use 2 of them as a frame for an outdoor shower. Saves on some material cost, but also will make it easy to move with the tractor if i choose to do so.
Here's what i've got so far:
I bought this gas shower setup from Amazon:
I'll either hook a 20lb propane tank to it, or i have an adapter to use the little 1lb tanks.
I have another IBC tote up there currently filled with water i've bought from home. So I bought this pump with built in pressure sensor and A/C power to get the water from the tank to the shower.
Bought cedar fence pickets to wrap the outside of the shower with and cedar decking boards for the floor of the shower. I'll also add a roof to keep debris and snow out of.
I'll update as i move along!

Fwiw, I think my old Eco5 (?) calls for 20psi to trip the safety valve inside for the burner to work. Ive never tried it on other than a regular line water hose.

Some of the edges on those totes can be really sharp. I would advise to put a roof over the shower also. It may not seam needed but it's very nice to dry off if its wet or chilly after a shower. This is our shower. I have next to nothing into it. Maple poles I cut from the property sitting on rocks, a varnished oak pallet to stand on and lumber I milled for the sides and framing. The metal roofing I alreaty had. I have added a rain shower head in the ceiling.
A rain shower head helps make up for low flow/pressure. 20200906_181819.jpg

4X6, fully secure, can change and shower inside. 50 gallons on roof collects solar heat, I also have a propane water heater. I can fill propane heater water bucket by just turning on a valve. I get good head pressure from the tank on the roof. I also have a valve on it for when I leave for the last time, I can drain it off. 20220626_123707.jpg

You guys are extravagant! We dont have a waterfall so.... My shower base is a small shipping skid with tightish top boards and a shallow hole beneath filled with river rocks as a drain into the sand/gravel. No enclosure; but is kinda behind the bushes a bit. A cheap plastic deck chair. A 3 gal bucket of water (solar heated if possible, adj to hot temp by adding stove heated water). A Coleman 'camp shower' that the pump runs off 4D cell batteries. A chunk of firewood within reach to set the soap, etc on. A shovel stuck in the ground conveniently located to hang the towel on. Flip-flops Sit on the chair, wet down, soap up, stand as needed, rinse. Repeat as needed. Feels Really Good after a long, sweaty work day! Btw, Ive never used more than about a gal. of water.

Nice setups fellas!
I didn't get to build my shower this weekend, but we did setup the pump and the Camplux shower unit to test it out and it works absolutely fabulous!! The 1lb tank worked just fine and the heat is literally instant!! Can't wait to get the shower itself built, it'll definitely change things up there to have that luxury around, especially after dusty atv trips like we did this weekend

I built an outdoor shower stall a few years ago. It just had a Zodi Extreme shower, which I love.
But this year I decided that the old outhouse needed to go so I'm building a new "bathhouse". It'll have an Eccotemp shower fed from a rain barrel, and a composting toilet. I just slogged through 10 days building the structure and now have to start working on the interior.
Unfortunately, I'll be disassembling my outdoor shower stall and repurposing the materials.
I've posted pictures of the 2 structures for reference. Outdoor Shower Stall

I will build an enclosure someday, thinking combo shower and composting-T unit with tall enough poles that a roof can eventually go on. Now where did I put that aroundtuit....
