I bought this from creeky who I found on this site, and he is very knowledgeable and helpful on this site
I have 4 Chevy volt modules at 48 volts for a total of 9.2KWH. I will also include the battery box and the BMS with the yellow bird harness.
I paid 5000.00 two years ago and would sell the batteries for 2000.00 and include the BMS, the battery breaker box and all the wires.
Let me know if anyone has any interest. I could send pictures if needed

Sounds like a great deal. Those are lithium ion though correct? When I need to replace my bank, which are 10+ years old, I'll likely go with Lifepo4 again, a safer battery is my understanding, and the increased weight not an issue in the cabin.

Yes, they are lithium ion. Lifepo4 is nice, but super expensive. Too deep for my pockets : )

Sorry setting things straight. I'm now running with 1190AH/30.4kWh LFP and NO nowhere near as expensive as it was or will be.

No worries Steve... I think 2000 for 9.2 KWH is super cheap. I am sure there are other options. I figured I would post here before posting on Ebay. It sounds like you have a nice system, good luck with it!

LFP Demand in the EV Sector (Even motorbikes) has risen very fast, so Supply/Demand is the kicker in it. In addition, the ESS (Energy Storage Systems) especially for Residential has shifted very quickly to LFP.
Look at this Solar Battery Comparison Charts specifically the "Battery Chemistry" Column.
Licensing for LFP has opened up to the world. Some LFP Factories outside of China have been or are under construction now (EU is farther ahead and some are just coming online now and others soon). Several Major Corporations have bought rights and moving at a serious pace.

Given the Op's 48v stuff is reasonable, and starting at 48v has a lot to recommend it, his could be a way to build a solid system geared toward the future. At the point they need replacement it would only be the bat-bank, choose whatever is available then for a cost effective chemistry, the rest of the system would make it plug&play (maybe just change some charge parameters). I was thinking if I started over Id go 24v, but if I was 'some younger than 69' going 48v right off would probably give me better options for use/growth.
