One of the things I like to do is hunting moose antlers. And the snow is gone enough that the fiddlehead ferns should start to show up. Really enjoy this time of the year and getting out. The grayling should be running too. And the ice just went off a little pond that has pike in it. You al spend any time hanging out in the bush around your cabin

We do like to walk the 9ac. woods and meadow to see what we can see and watch it change. In the grounds we have walked through the decades we have only found a few sheds, well gnawed. The white tailed deer antlers here are hard to spot.

I found a nice set of antlers off a 10 point Whitetail Deer last week. Unfortunately the critters got to the one side, but shed hunting is one of my favorite things to do in the spring.
I've been finding about 2 sheds per year for the last few years....good times, I bet the moose and elk antlers stick out a lot better than the little whitetails....

I spent a few afternoons after work really searching a 160ac old orchard that turned into a town park. Each day I would pick a new spot to throughly search. I only found 1 antler from the year prior but I did find 3 dead deer.
