My 76 F-250 plow truck blew a transmission seal so I had our daughter weld a bracket to the back of the bucket to attach an old western plow on to the bucket of my 1959 case 420b. I used a chain to bind it down so I had some downforce. I may add the angel controls for the blade.
I paid 3400 bucks for this ol iron near 10 years ago and it still runs great, been using it to stack snow, install a couple septic, driveway repair n such . But I've never seen one set up like this. Separate rear brakes are nice to help steer.
Someone asked about tire chains. Mine are pretty ragged but make a huge difference because mud doesn't ball up. Try a company that does road maintenance .

Nice rig!
How complicated are the connection points between the loader and the bucket? Just wondering if you could make a quick connect plate, i think bobcats have them. That might lend to some options for quick change of other tools/contraptions!

Nice job. I'm sure with a big heavy machine like that it will work well.
I had one plow rigged to fit under the loader and use the loader to lift the plow on my 1957 ford 851. I eventually got a plow truck but this spring sold that and bought a 3pt snowblower.

WILL the connection is the 2 ea 1" hardened bolts. And I used a chain n ratchet binder to hold it down. The hydrolics are self contained for the plow angel. I'm thinking about mounting them on top near the steering wheel so it will angle.
I have another western snow plow blade, 2 actually, without the wings. The plow with the wings can really push a load. And stack it. I'm thinking it may work for light dirt work also.
Not as fast as my plow truck for snow but it has down force .
Also I believe you asked about tire chains. These tore up ones work good for me . I got them from a dirt , excavation contractor for a box of beer.

I use my tractor front loader to plow snow. It can also lift plowed snow and dump it out of the way. What is the reason to mount a snow plow on a tractor bucket? I don't see any added benefit.
