Hey all, People seem to enjoy the artwork I have been making out of refurbished trash. This the latest tank lamp. The split tank was off of a Harley 70’s shovel head, maybe early 80’s evo. It was pretty banged up, dinged and dented. Required full body work and paint restoration. Decal is old stock Harley All the pipe and fittings are from demoed boiler jobs.. The stand is a Harley Davidson brake rotor welded to a pipe flange. I’m obviously exaggerating but I guess there’s about a mile of wire running through those pipes. There is a switch / dimmer for the main bulb the headlight the brake light and the exhaust tips. I agonized over paint colors and placement. The main color is a hand rubbed bronze the accents are an aged bronze in the tank itself is a Ford LTD metallic red I believe 1972 but don’t quote me on that. All In all I am really proud of the results, I hope you enjoy looking at it.

Okay, I got a few pics up. Sorry for all the posts, I cant seem to delete them....
The exhaust tips flicker.....The main lamp is a 3 way switch and bulb...the head light was an old desk lamp and its on its own dimmer switch....The brake light was off an electrical panel and its on its own switch as well.

I’ve seen lesser (in my humble opinion) lamps like it go for $1400...I’d say lamps in that style go around $800 to $1000... I’m not selling it or saying I’d get that much or not but I have seen a lot of them and believe the ones I’ve made (for family and friends) are as good as or better then the ones I’ve seen.... I’m usually not so Braggadocious but I’m really proud of these and the work that goes into them. Thanks for all the kind words folks, they mean a lot..
