Finished up the shed. Put a saw blade on the peak with the letters code compliant as a present for who ever called the building inspector on me.

Wow! Exquisite job.

My current cabin is an ersatz timber frame (we cheated by using bolts with a minimum of mortises). For the floor of the loft in the cabin we will be experimenting with lap or haunched lap joints and maybe a dovetail. I will post pics. Can you post some picks of how you cut the mortises and tenons?

Our next job will be a small barn using real timber frame. I love the lifting sheave bipod. My main worry is getting the beams up so this will help.
