Our property seems to be changing all the time. We started with a tree covered lot, over the years we have built, had forest fires and continued to build.

My wife is always dragging bits and pieces back from all over the place. Wildfire was scary it burned the entire 40km length of the lake. It has changed our view alot but now there is incredible fields of fireweed to see. The pictures just do not do it justice

We reminisce all the time on this subject.I knew from the first time I looked at this lot that it met all my (need's and want, wish list)3 miles from work and town.2 acres of woods,2 acres of field.A small creek that runs all year around. On a nice quiet country road.Great neighbors.I love it here!

Beautiful rayyy! Is that just a getaway spot or permanent residence? Either way how do you handle that long drive? haha

3 miles from work. That would be sweet.
Only bad part about our place. It is a 3hr drive in the middle of no where. No cell service, good and bad, mostly good.

My property changes. Like wine. Gets better with age.

More seriously; we had a bad storm 5 years ago that snapped many trees. I love watching the forest recover. The canopy is still thin but the young growth is coming on strong.

Cheers, Salty

yes. i look at photographs taken just 8 years ago, and it's amazing how things have changed. A small spruce is 20' tall, birches have doubled in size and old ATV tracks are now covered with moss. I, of course, never change. ha!

My wife made a hardcover book on shutterfly for fathers day. starting with us 5 years ago at the property seeing it for the first time then right after closing up to a couple months ago. It includes progression photos of our cabin (we just completed it) along with the pond being dug and many family/friend outings. The property has changed for sure adding a pond and building the cabin but it was the kids that struck me how they have changed. I was pushing my now 6yr old in a stroller on closing day by the creek

Oh....lovely property. Thanks for providing us with pictures of four different locations. Very nice property. Busted

I don't doubt that you have worked your butt off. I had a bunch of widow makers to clean up. Hard and dangerous. Take care.

Well crap

Geez, Salty, ya make it mighty difficult to become a legend around here....

Ackshly, we took a stump down today that was between the cabins (I fell the leaner several years ago).

aaaand, we cleaned up a stump mess (also today...and yesterday...and the day before) that we'll take pics of...just for you (sheeesh).

(at least it was our property)

Ya didn't even mention the three deer in the park like setting pic.
Betcha didn't even see them, didja? Hmmmm?

I'm goin' ta bed now.

I missed the deer. Was so busy identifying the trees to see if a fourth location was presented. I still only see one even when I get to gazin.

Park like setting?? Not even close. It hasn't been spoiled with concrete and asphalt paths. Yeah, no park... Much better.

Akshly, there's only one deer (heh heh).
Hoping you'd get a dose of eye strain tryin' to find the other two...

oh, and Cabi did most the clean up.
