This property already had a building site. There was an existing well and septic tank. I had no idea of the well condition. 1.jpeg_20.jpg

I worked on weekends, things came together very slowly. I paid for it as I went to keep from another payment. Loved working on this.

It is 16 x 24. It has a 12 x 12 loft. The original plans had a ladder. I adjusted to fit the stairs and put a bedroom closet under them. It worked great. stairs_91912..jpg

I had to build the kitchen cabinets to fit due to limited space. The kitchen sink was found on sale at a camper supply store, faucet was salvaged from a friends remodel. Counter top was another friends remodel.

That skirting around the edge at the bottom, that is cool. What sizes does it come in (width) and do you fill in the space with mortar???

It is a mobile home skirting called k-rock. Approx 36 x 52 inch sheets. Its been pretty durable so far.

very nice Buzz.
We bought our land almost 4 years ago. We racked up every credit card we had getting a cabin built and then refinanced the land. Our payment went up like 200 a month because we refinanced into 15 years instead of 30...well worth it.. and we ended up with like 30k in equity more after that.
Would not trade our ranch for anything.
Keep us posted on your place!

Nice work! It is amazing with some planning how a person can make everything fit in a small cabin.

Thanks for sharing all the photos. I too would be wanting steps instead of a ladder. It all looks wonderful. So happy for you!
